This Sunday at 9 eastern once again it is #MONSTERDON the weekly monster movie watch party! Come watch a bad movie with a couple thousand of your best friends :D

This week we're watching YETI: GIANT OF THE 20TH CENTURY (1977), which looks to be an Italian version of Cry Wilderness (1987). I hope an eagle gouges a man's eyes out in this flick, too.

The film's on Tubi and YouTube (youtube.com/watch?v=Ywr1316LeM), but alas not on Archive.org. Ah well.

Folks it is about an hour until #MONSTERDON the weekly monster movie watch party. If you want to avoid a flood of goofy toots, I recommend setting up a hashtag filter in your preferences.

If you'd like to join in, we're watching CRITTERS (1986) this week, one o' them Gremlins-alikes. You can catch it for free over on Tubi: tubitv.com/movies/100001406/cr

We start at 9pm eastern! Be there or be a small dubiously constructed rubber mammal!

New Raised By Horror episode! @Kadrey and I unpack Demi Moore's Oscars snub, the indie sex worker film that Anora ripped off (seriously, they have receipts of communication with the director), what it's like to get kink-shamed by Heart Eyes, what's hot on @shudder epic YouTube #horror shorts, The Dead Thing, my love letter to Bloody Axe Wound (and its music), and more!

Find it on *tons* of services, including YouTube, Spotify, Libsyn, Apple, normal RSS, and more:

This Sunday at 9pm, once again it is #MONSTERDON your weekly monster movie watch party! Join us to watch a bad horror movie!

This week's film is CRITTERS (1986), one of those creepy-cute gremlin monster movies that came out in the aftermath of Gremlins. Come see M. Emmet Walsh as the sweatiest sheriff this side of the Mason-Dixon!

Alas not available on Archive.org, the film is on Tubi right over here: tubitv.com/movies/100001406/cr

New instance, new #introduction:

I'm an autistic xennial (she/her) who will 100% be telling people I'm from Canada if I travel internationally in the near future.

I joined Fedi in '22 & this is my 5th(!) instance because I'm currently learning #Welsh/ #Cymraeg & I need a break from the US.

I'm a cat mom, #horror nerd, former #horse girl & hoarder of unread books.

With a Steam image of a stupid smiley face that made me initially ignore it when seeing it (the kind I would expect from some basic cheapo game), R.E.P.O. is actually pretty darn amusing and it's rocketing up the charts on Steam.

This week it's C.H.U.D. (1984), which stands for "cannibalistic humanoid underground dweller." Sounds like it's time for some pale cave creeps, should be a good time :D

The flick is free on Tubi and Pluto, or you can download from Archive.org over here: archive.org/details/chud-1984_
