Do I know anyone who's ever tried to capture an ARM-based #apple #Mac using a capture card? I am running into the dreaded #HDCP issues that seem to be common with these and google's failing me for a solution.
Does using a #HDMI splitter still work for these cases or is there some kind of fancy tool to just disable HDCP for the duration? Ethereum prices are falling today after Bybit was hacked, with more than $1.4 billion worth being stolen. The crypto exchange's CEO Ben Zhou confirmed the attack but told customers that it will be able to manage the loss. "Bybit is solvent even if this hack loss is not recovered," he wrote on X. Follow-up to yesterday's post about the video-out mod to my Game Gear (GG), here's another neat trick;
The GG's literally a re-housed Sega Master System (SMS), which means it can natively play SMS games through an adapter or a boot loader such as an EverDrive.
The GG's EXT port is a repurposed controller port 2 from the SMS - so that's where SMS software looks for player 2 input.
A simple cable hack will let you do 2 players on SMS games on your GG - or on a TV with mine!
