The year is 1993, it was either a car or Macintosh PowerBook, so here’s me taking the metro with the latter.
(Haha, new #MARCHintosh acquisition! PowerBook 145B, with an intermittent display, TBD, but it was $50, very pristine and en canadien français).
My first 68k PowerBook!
This was a fun quick procrasti-project. It's double-sided too (it's a blinking question mark after all)!
I don't have a multi-filament printer so I implemented a satisfying no-glue snapidy-snap system to print the distinct black and white parts (but there's also a file in there if your printer can do multi-colour!)
It can also be a luggage tag, or keychain, or just a fidget token (it's got a nice heft to it).
New #MARCHintosh fashion!
For when you need to show the world you haven't booted yet.

Accsessing my blog on Safari from a Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. Pretty cool that I can accsess the internet on a now almost 20 year old os. But, I don't know what else to do with a Mac emulator?

Don't mind me, just writing a blog post on my Mac Plus, like you do.

My Lisa clone has a new case! A real case, in fact. It’s a mishmash of vintage parts, clone parts, and modern parts. And I built it!
Wow - I had never heard of the "HFS pixel" in the Macintosh Finder before now. Is this common knowledge?

Good morning from my tiny computer nook. #macos #vintagemac #linuxmint #popOS
The 12” PowerBook G4 is one of my favorite classic Macs, it’s so tiny, cute, and convenient!
I opened the CD-ROM drive to discover a present: Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis for Mac. It has both 68k and PPC versions on the disc and it works on the SE/30.
Got my Mac SE/30 SCSI chain fully populated with more things! And no termination issues!
Top down, beige Epson Zip 100, Iomega Jaz 1GB, Logitech ScanMan, Apple CD 300i, SyQuest 88MB. Not pictured: internal BlueSCSI v1.
You may remember that I recapped my Radius PowerView a few months ago. Recently the video started getting distorted. Turns out there’s still cap goo on the board causing issues. Gonna clean it in the ultrasonic.
Spent yesterday replacing the two 22 AWG +5V wires in the Mac SE/30 cable harness from the analog board to motherboard with 16 AWG. Voltages at floppy port went from 4.78V before to 4.98V after. Quite an improvement!
My monster SE/30 rig is getting bigger and more stable.
