A rufous morph Eastern screech owl

A shot directly facing a small owl nestled in the hollow of a dead tree. It is inside the hollow but with most of the front of its body visible. It is a light red all over and has small “ear tufts”, and its chest feathers are poofed out. It has its eyes completely closed and its beak nestled into its neck feathers, looking like its sleeping soundly.

Farbbild im Landscape Format. Man sieht viele unscharfe Zweige mit einigen weiß-rosa Blüten im Hintergrund vor einem weißen Himmel. Leicht rechts der Mitte ist eine unscharfe, dunkle Fläche im Hintergrund . Die Szene wird warm von Rechts von der Sonne beschienen. In der Mitte ist ein scharfer Zweig mit unterschiedlich geöffneten Mandelblüten zu sehen, der etwa (von links gesehen) beim Ende des zweiten Drittels in zwei offene weiß-rosa Blüten endet.

Farbaufnahme im Landscape Format. Sehr niedrig blühende Lila Blumen werden von hinten warm von der Sonne angeleuchtet. Die Blumen sind unterschiedlich scharf und befinden sich zwischen Grashalmen.

An old photo, taken on one of my last film cameras, of the snowy, rocky peaks of the French Alps. It was, I am about 95% sure, taken from the Auguille de Midi viewing platform after getting the cable car from Chamonix. The photo is colour, but looks black and white, except for small glimpses of colour in the clothes of the tiny people hiking up the smooth snowy slope at the bottom right of the image (well, they look tiny, I suspect they are average sized people in reality). Wispy clouds hang both above and below the rocky peaks.

Schwarzweißbild im Portrait Format. Die Bildmitte wird von einer unscharfen Edelstahlbrüstung dominiert die ich bis in die Bildmitte zieht. Auf der rechten Seite sieht man einen tiefer gelegenen Bereich mit einigen Stühlen. Im linken Bereich sieht man einen Gang an dessen Ende eine Person steht die in Richtung der Kamera guckt. Die Person ist ganz in Schwarz Gekleidet. Das obere Drittel macht eine Decke mit Punktstrahlern aus, etwas dahinter liegt eine weitere höhere Decke mit Raumfüllenden fast randlosen Licht Paneelen. Alles wirkt sehr clean da alle Wände leer sind und auch in den Räumen bis auf die Stühle nichts steht.

Schwarzweißbild im Portrait Format. Durch das untere Drittel verläuft eine Brüstung aus Glas mit einem oberen Abschluss aus Edelstahl. In der Mitte und durch die Glasbrüstung sieht man eine einfache leere graue Wand. Darüber befindet sich im oberen Drittel eine aus großen rechteckigen Flächen im 3:1 Format fast ohne Rand bestehende Beleuchtung. in der unteren Rechten Ecke kann man durch die Brüstung noch den Boden des Raums unter der Brüstung erahnen. Alles wirkt sehr clean.

Went out for a walk. Found buds and birds, so that was nice.

Looks like Red Squirrel put on some lipstick .
It's just that they have orange front teeth that never stop growing. Their enamel contains iron that makes them strong enough to gnaw on hard foods like nuts.

Railyard
