The sprites for Nord are finished! I'm so happy with how he turned out - I got to improve on many small parts of his design, and yet it still looks like him.
Some early designs and exploration for the "Survivors": people caught in the in-between, navigating the hardships of their environment. It was super interesting thinking about what they would find on their journey and how they would utilize scavenged materials and outfit parts.

Concept and graphics for an isometric iOS racing game in a minimalistic voxel-style, made in 2010.
A friend started coding it, but couldn't find enough time to finish it.
I published the graphics on several showcase sites. Four years later, Crossy Road appeared with a similar isometric voxel style, and was a big hit.
A ref from @vancoufur 2024 that I forgot to post. Whoopsie! Helping design Neon's canine character.

A surreal, arty-farty self-portrait I made back when I was exhaustingly chased by evil deadlines.
The logo on the door was my one-man company logo at the time. It was called Seven's Heaven.

A simple first test rendering of my angry geezer head sculpture in progress. We're gettin' there.
A 1-bit pixel sketch I made around 1992, in the Deluxe Paint ("DPaint") pixel editor on an Amiga 2000, using my first drawing tablet, featuring a wired pen.
Pixel art icons I made in the mid-1990s.
Back then a coder and me were "The Games Department," a semi-autonomous game dev department of a Dutch media company. We created our Windows game Moon Child there.

Four pixel art logos I made as intros to our Amiga games and demos in the early 1990s.
Some of the logos have a restricted amount of colors, to allow a visual effect behind it.
And yes, the castle logo is an obvious wink to Disney.

Arlo, a magical graffiti artisan that I designed in collaboration with the writer Victoria Dumeng, for a RPG project. We probably won't be seeing this version of him for now, but I'm still happy with the concept art that I did for him!
